Founded by David V. Karney in 1952 as one of the first significant industrial real estate companies in Southern California, the firm today is still a closely-held family business. A senior executive team with over 80 years of combined experience in commercial real estate development, acquisitions, brokerage and property, asset and portfolio management form the fabric of our daily operation.
Our focus is on high-growth potential, value-add investments that enhance our current Southern California holdings. We seek contiguous properties to our owned properties that are oriented towards commercial or mixed-use redevelopment. Our portfolio of properties is located in strategic, emerging, commercial or destination markets that offer strong trans-generational growth and development opportunities.
We own over 100 buildings, encompassing millions of square feet of space primarily leased to warehouse distribution, manufacturing and creative office tenants. Our properties are located in the greater Los Angeles and Orange County markets including Playa Vista, Torrance, El Segundo, Hawthorne, Vernon, Commerce, La Mirada, Anaheim and Santa Fe Springs, with a number of out-of-state properties.
